An excellent contact cement
I've always bought this Weldwood contact cement in a glass jar and the lid was plastic and easy to open, even if some glue got into the threads I've always been able to open the plastic lid.I haven't been able to find the glass jar (see photo) for sale anywhere and the only ones available now are a metal can with a metal screw on lid (see photo). The metal lid seems very hard to get off. I had to resort to pliers. I've now added a little white lithium grease to the threads to see if that will keep it easier to get off and on.Over a year ago I bought a metal can of the Weldwood just like the one in the picture. When I recently needed to use it I could not get the lid off at all!It wouldn't come off with pliers nor even my big set of pliers. I ended up tossing it in the trash and had to buy the new one pictured here.

I was very disappointed when I received the item.
Yes, it is the same cement and the same amount of it, but the container did not match the picture advertised. I have attached a picture of the actual item.
