You can use the solutions listed on this page to accelerate your product development process with ACK. The ACK development kit and getting started guide enable you to quickly set up ACK-based connectivity and Alexa voice control. Once you have a prototype working, you can integrate the ACK Device SDK with the Host Microcontroller (HMCU) of your choice, or use one of the ACK HMCU development kits to speed up your development.
You can select from two different ACK modules based on your development needs.
The Mediatek WM-BN-MT-52 system-on-a-module is equipped with a 1T1R Wi-Fi/BT antenna, ARM ® Cortex®-M4 processor and MT7697H System on Chip (SoC).
The Espressif ESP32-PICO-V3-ZERO is a small-footprint Alexa Connect Kit module with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity, and equipped with an integrated antenna and Espressif’s ESP32-V3 SoC.
The Beken BK2L module is equipped with BK7235 SoC, which integrates 1x1 single-band 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 6 and BLE 5.2 combo solution.
The ACK development kits come with a custom development board with an integrated ACK module that provides connection with Alexa and the ACK managed services, and communicates with your device’s host microcontroller unit (HMCU). Choose from multiple ACK development kits to quickly and easily prototype your Alexa-connected product.
The ACK development kit by USI includes a development board with an integrated Mediatek WM-BN-MT-52-based ACK module and a sample HMCU. You can use the development kit and the ACK device SDK to build device prototypes.
The ACK development kit by Espressif includes a development board with integrated ESP32-V3-based ACK module and a sample HMCU. Arduino Zero development board sold separately.
After you purchase a development kit, you will also will need to integrate the ACK Device SDK with a HMCU. You can use a HCMU of your choice or select from pre-integrated HMCU kits to accelerate your development.
